Worley has been awarded the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) contract for the onshore substation of the Green Volt Offshore Windfarm.
The substation will connect to a 560 MW floating wind facility in the North Sea, marking Europe’s first commercial-scale floating wind project.

The FEED scope includes:
- Electrical low-voltage design for the substation
- Interface coordination with high-voltage equipment
- Full FEED delivery by May 2026
The project is designed for rapid deployment and aims to strengthen the UK’s renewable energy supply while building a domestic supply chain for floating wind.

Optional Scope: Worley may later tender for EPC/EPCM phase support to Green Volt.
