KBR has secured a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract from INPEX Masela Ltd. for the onshore facilities of the Abadi LNG project in Indonesia — a development officially designated as a project of national strategic importance by the Indonesian government.

The project aims to achieve peak production of 9.5 mtpa of LNG and 150 MMSCFD of pipeline gas, significantly boosting Indonesia’s role in the global LNG market while reinforcing domestic energy security.
Under the contract, KBR will partner with Samsung E&A and PT Adhi Karya to deliver comprehensive FEED services for the onshore facilities.
