Oklo Inc., a pioneer in advanced nuclear technology, has appointed Kiewit Nuclear Solutions Co. as the lead constructor for its first commercial Aurora powerhouse at Idaho National Laboratory (INL). The selection follows a competitive process based on Kiewit’s technical capabilities and deep expertise in infrastructure construction.

Under the newly signed Master Services Agreement, Kiewit will spearhead design, procurement, and construction efforts for the Aurora-INL project, which represents a milestone in Oklo’s journey to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy. With pre-construction beginning in 2025 and commercial operations slated for late 2027 or early 2028, this project underscores the company’s commitment to next-generation energy deployment.
