The project will be delivered in 30 months, and DBL–RBL’s bid is approximately 16.87% higher than GMRL’s internal estimate of ₹1286 crore, which may lead to post-bid negotiations for financial closure.

According to the financial bid results, eight bidders had submitted proposals, with six qualifying technically. The top three financial bids were:

- KPIL–HGIEL JV: ₹1559.55 Cr
- L&T: ₹1571.60 Cr
The metro line was approved by the Union Cabinet in June 2023, but execution was delayed due to tendering cycles. With this milestone reached, the focus now shifts to contract negotiations, which are crucial to avoid re-tendering delays.
SYSTRA MVA Consulting (India) is serving as the Detailed Design Consultant (DDC) for the corridor. Separately, the General Consultant (GC) contract has been awarded to a joint venture of DB Engineering & Consulting (DB E&C) – Hill International, which received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) in July 2025.
Once finalized, this metro corridor is expected to significantly enhance connectivity across Gurugram, reduce vehicular traffic, and support the region’s sustainable urban development objectives.
