Bajel Projects Wins 400cr Power Transmission Order from PGCIL

Bajel Projects Limited has received a large power transmission project order from PowerGrid Corporation of India (PGCIL). The project is being handled by Mel Power Transmission, a special company set up for this work.

The project includes:

  • Building a 138-kilometer, 400kV double-circuit transmission line from Mahan to Rewa, using modern high-capacity conductors.
  • Extending the 400kV substation bay at Rewa, which will help in sending power from the Mahan Energen Limited power plant.

The project will be completed in 29 months. Once finished, it will help improve the power supply system in Madhya Pradesh and support the growing energy needs of the region.
