Subsea7 has been awarded a large EPCI contract by Equinor for the Fram Sør subsea development project located offshore Norway, with a contract value estimated between $300 million and $500 million.
The awarded scope includes the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of subsea infrastructure covering approximately 53 kilometers of production, gas lift, and water injection flowlines, along with the installation of the umbilical system.

The Fram Sør field lies 10 to 30 km north of the Troll C platform and around 70 km northwest of Bergen. It will be tied back to the existing Fram and Troll C infrastructure, enhancing utilization of the current offshore assets.
Subsea7 had previously received a FEED (Front-End Engineering and Design) contract for this project in January 2025, allowing for early collaboration with Equinor and optimization of technical solutions ahead of final investment approval.
Project engineering and management will begin immediately at Subsea7’s offices in Norway and the UK, with offshore installation activities scheduled for 2026 through 2028.
